That is why companies have introduced student discounts. So, What is a Student Discount? A student discount is a reduction in price or a special offer from a company or business given to students, typically those enrolled in higher education, as a way to save money on products and services.
Apart from students, others can also take benefit from these student discounts. I will tell you how in this blog.

I have included famous shoe brands like Nike, Adidas, Puma, etc. Also a complete step by step guide and process on what you need for acquiring the student discount for each brand or how can you verify.

Nike offer a 10% discount off most items on Nike.com and in the Nike App to eligible high school, college, and university students.
Nike has partnered with SheerID, a third-party service to confirm your eligibility through their verification process.
How to Get the Discount:

3. Then Simply verify your student or teacher status with SheerID.
You’ll need to complete the verification form, including verifying your age. SheerID may ask for documentation to verify your status.
4. After successful verification, They’ll provide a single-use promo code for 10% off most items.
5. Sign in to your Nike Member profile and use your promo code during checkout.
And that\’s it you will now get the 10 % off on the Nike items or shoes.
Note : you must be 16 or older to be eligible for the discount. The discount applies to most items but there are exclusions
Adidas
Adidas offer a 15% discount off to students when you shop with adidas online at adidas.co.in.
Nike has partnered with UNiDAYS to verify your student status.
How to Get the Discount :
1. First go to any web browser and type Adidas student discount (your country name), or you can directly click on the link below.

2. After reaching the page, find the join now button and click on it.
You will be directed to the UNiDAYS site. First you need to verify your student status through UNiDAYS.
3. Then Simply verify your account by clicking the verify your account button with UNiDAYS.
You need to fill in the details like your Name, Date of Birth and your Institution or University name, then click continue button.
4. After that you will need to give your student email address issued by your institution or university.
They will send a one time verification link on that email address.
Note : Sometimes the university mail consider these types of mails as scam so they do\’nt show them in inbox. You need to go to scam mail section, there you will find that mail for verification.
5. When the verification process is completed, you will get the code which can be used only once.
Copy that code and when you go to to your bag, you will see a section of Add the promo code, paste the code and you will get 15 % discount on your shoes or bill.

Puma
Puma generally offer a 10-25% discount off to students, but the details change depending on the region.
Puma use two platforms for verification services : UNiDAYS and Student Beans depending on the region.
I advise you to visit your local Puma website and look for student discount link and check out how much they offer student discount for Puma shoes.

Let’s say you are from US,
1. First go to any web browser and type Puma student discount (your country name).
Click on the website.
2. After reaching the page, find the student discount section by scrolling down
You will find the section at the bottom of the website in Support section.
3. You will be directed to the UNiDAYS site or Student beans site depending on the region.

4. If it is Student Beans, click on the sign up button to build your Student Beans account (If you not had done previously).
5. You will be directed to a page in which you have to fill up all the details.
Your email id (Not student mail id), Name, Date of birth.
6. After filling these information, fill your student mail id given to you by your Institution or University.
After that you will get a verification code or link, click on it or fill the code.

Beyond the Student ID: Who Else Can Save?
While the terms and conditions strictly prohibit sharing single-use codes (as they are tied to a specific account and transaction), in practice, a student can simply use their code to place an order for a family member or friend.
You just have to borrow it from your university or college going family or friend. I you are thinking about what if they use my id and in future if i have to order something, you do\’nt need to worry as you can usually re-verify your student status to get a new single-use code every week or two (e.g., once every 7-14 days)
